Twin Peaks Matchboxes
I became obsessed with Twin Peaks and felt compelled to create a series of artwork that pays homage to its weird and mysterious world and share my interpretations of the show. I chose matchboxes as the canvas because they seemed like a fitting tribute to the recurring metaphor of fire in the show.
The world of Twin Peaks is full of symbolism and incoherent messages throughout. So, much like many of David Lynch’s works, these illustrations also have hidden meanings and clues that invite the viewers to decipher themselves.
